about me

Let me accompany you on an extraordinary journey.

Whether you’re seeking a brighter future, the healing of old wounds or a sense of satisfaction in the everyday, the combination of art therapy and EMDR can transform your outlook. Through simple drawing exercises we will channel the dynamic interaction of creativity and neuroscience to bring about profound change.

Interacting with people of all ages and from all walks of life has confirmed my belief in the power of creativity in building confidence, overcoming fears, and healing trauma. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when in-person meetings were limited and many clients lacked space for art-making at home, I discovered the effectiveness of online EMDR sessions. Combined with art therapy, this makes a powerful catalyst for insight and change. You don't need to think of yourself as 'artistic' or bring any skills, just grab a piece of paper and a few colours and lets see where that takes you.

I have been an Art Therapist since 2005, and worked in various settings, including a hospice, high-security prison, residential unit for acute mental health, and special needs school.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the British Association of Art Therapists and EMDR Association UK.
