The birth of a new baby is celebrated as a moment of great joy and love, but many parents find find themselves overwhelmed, whether by the shadows of miscarriage or stillbirth, or from a traumatic birth.

Feelings of fear, anger and grief can make caring for a newborn challenging. When the focus is all about the new baby it can be hard to share with others how much distress you are in.
